Absolute Physical Therapy: Bianca Bass

Bianca Bass opened Absolute Physical Therapy in 2020 with the intention of creating a practice that would combine the best of traditional physical therapy with the principles and techniques of osteopathic manual therapy.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Bianca's practice follows the philosophy that therapy is most successful when people are treated as whole human beings, not as individual parts, and her work is focused on finding and treating the root causes.

Education
Bianca Bass, PT, DPT, graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, VA, as a Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. At Marymount, Bianca was a recipient of the Mary McMillan Award for best Physical Therapy Student in the country.

Career
Since graduating in 2004, Bianca has been practicing Orthopedic and Neurological rehabilitation in a variety of clinical settings.  Prior to studying in Marymount, Bianca practiced physical therapy as the head of the rehabilitation department in a large hospital in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and also taught kinesiology at a University in Rio De Janeiro.
